maajin

Mohair approached us to make a blend of retro and modern performance, with some subtle teasing at the start we put together this beautiful music video at The Vic Devonport.

I particularly enjoyed masking two versions of him - seen above in the thumbnail and the heavy halation throughout the whole video.

Jeremy Brown

Jeremy sat on our porch all summer, having stated he wanted to let loose of responsibilities and let his community and the roaming nature in Amherst take care of him. We quickly adopted him and from then on he stayed in our living room.

He would sing this song so gently and strong, Jill asked him if we could make a video.

sleep years

Submerge into a liquid dream. That’s what I tried to capture in this abstract piece. Julius asked for ‘pillow case vibes’ ‘depression and revelation’ which I think comes across prettywell.

Phorrest - Riding up

I loved this simple music video setup - a few locations and a whole lot of energy.
I really enjoyed working with Jamie and his positivity shines through in every frame.

Time to make the music video

As a lead vocalist myself I know making a music video isn’t the main thing to do when making music, you might want to make a track and then make another one and just keep creating.

Making a music video is serious fun and can expand the songs dramatically, it can open you up to new listeners, showcase a visual style and add an underlying narrative to the song.

Get in touch for any and all yarns around music videos, if you have an idea already, or want to hear our ideas we want to work with you.

Jacob Scott

Part of an excellent set in Whangaparaoa. Jacob wanted some buttery footage of his new songs Walk and Glossolalia for his new album, we had a great time on this shoot, we hope you enjoy Jacob’s wonderful music.

When Brandon started to serenade the local heifer population in the field adjacent to the BnB, I knew we had more than a live video on our hands.
